In 1975, Patty Radabaugh, an elementary school teacher was looking for a special gift for her father in law...an avid golfer. To her frustration, there was nothing available that was custom-made, artistic, personal and also important, affordable.

Her passion for art led way to the creation of the first "Personette" and her first creation, the golf design (among her most popular)

In 1975, at a Toledo, Ohio shopping emporium, Patty opened her first shop. Armed with 28 designs, she began taking orders for her unique gifts of personalized name art forms.

By invitation in 1979, she was a vendor at the prestigious US Open Golf tournament. That same year Patty's personalized silhouette art gifts were featured in US magazine.

Patty credits her customers with expanding the creation of so many different designs. Patty's reputation for her personalized namesakes grew quickly. Eventually she developed nearly 200 copyrighted designs.

Each distinctive Personette name art design is custom made for you. Our personalized art gifts are crafted with your name, shaped into any of our numerous design choices. Each work of personalized art comes beautifully matted and framed, and is shipped in a gift ready box with a gift enclosure card.
